Open Latarjet Procedure

The open Latarjet procedure is performed to address anterior shoulder instability.

It is an operation to transfer a bone called the coracoid process to the front of the shoulder socket (glenoid). It is recommended for patients with recurrent anterior instability in which non-operative measures are not successful and there is a high risk of recurrence after an arthroscopic (key-hole) stabilisation procedure.
