Things have been a bit quiet on the MTP blog for a while now, mainly due to the training commitments I have had in preparation for competing in Team CrossFit Active. Firstly with the lead up to the CrossFit Open then at the Australia/NZ regional competition and now at the CrossFit Games in Los Angeles! A lot of personal and professional sacrifices have needed to be made in order to commit the time to training and recovery to allow me to perform at my best for such a long season. As a result the extra work (like writing blog posts) outside the clinic has been the first to go. However, after I return from the US in mid August keep your eyes on the site for some exciting changes and regular updates.
I do have some other exciting news, as I will be away competing/holidaying from 20th July to the 15th August. A friend and trusted colleague of mine, Jon Cartwright of JC Physiotherapy will be providing physiotherapy services at Move Train Perform on Tuesday and Friday evenings 4pm to 8pm from the 23rd of July.

Jon is a physio with 9 years of experience working in private practice. He specialises in diagnostics and movement pattern dysfunction and has a wealth of experience working with athletes/clients of all levels from international level athletes through to the weekend warrior. Jon has recently started training  CrossFit at CrossFit Bare in Bondi Junction (and loving it) and has worked collaboratively with me on a number of CrossFit clients with great results.

From working with Jon prior to establishing Move Train Perform I can highly recommend him, his philosophy of treatment and injury management is very similar to mine and I would not be recommending him for my clients if I didn’t have complete confidence that he will provide an exceptional service to existing and future Move Train Perform clients.

All appointment bookings with Jon can be made through the Move Train Perform online booking system or by phone on 0405826495

See you after the Games and thanks for all your support!
